Bhagwant Maan, AAP campaign committee Chairman who reached here today to boost the morale of NRIs from Canada warned PPCC president Capt Amarinder Singh against threatening the NRIs and using absurd language against them.He said that Capt Amarinder Singh was facing stiff opposition from senior party leaders and rebels have been playing spoilsport for him. Capt Amarinder was issuing statements against NRIs out of utter frustration. He said that no outsider was among the NRIs, they are our own brothers and sisters.Talking to media he said that NRIs have played major role in development of Punjab and in the past both Capt Amarinder and Sukhbir Badal had also invited NRIs to contribute in state’s development. He said that NRIs have found that their investment here was not safe due to corrupt system. He said that Capt Amarinder Singh had never raised voice against Badals when their cabinet ministers and hunch men grabbed properties of NRIs. He said that agriculture Minister Tota Singh had grabbed land of a NRI in Moga and many NRIs who came to contest court cases of land grabbing were either killed or booked in fake criminal cases.He said that NRIs were going door to door and they are getting tremendous response.
