Independent Langate Legislator, Er Rasheed while speaking on the cut motion on the grants of Health and Medical Education, hailed the efforts of health department in Kashmir during the summer uprising.“I salute every doctor, paramedic and ambulance driver who worked tirelessly during the months of uprising,” Rasheed said.While appreciating the work done by the ambulance drivers he said, they are the heroes and need to be saluted.Citing an example of the ambulance driver who was hit by bullet after forces fired at him, he said, “I am witness to the vandalism of forces. They were entering into ambulances and beating the people on board.”He was interrupted by BJP legislators who termed Rasheed’s statement as baseless.Furious Langate Legislator however told them, “You are liars.”“You raised issue of Zaira Waseem in the house saying that she is being threatened,” Rasheed said, “Today she has answered your minister.”Rasheed was referring to a tweet of Zaira Wassem in which she responded to union sports minister’s tweet.
