In order to review the measures taken in respect of completion of Srinagar Master Plan and attaining status of Smart City for Srinagar, the Commissioner Secretary Housing & Urban Development Department, Hridesh Kumar today visited areas of Srinagar city including. Old Court Complex, Old Secretariat Complex, Divisional Commissioner office complex, Old Assembly Complex, Food & Supplies Office at Shaheed Gunj, Bota Sarai Darish Kadal.The Commissioner Secretary directed all the concerned for immediate accomplishment of steps so as to get the fresh Master Plan implemented in letter and spirit after approval of Government, which will ensure planned development and growth of Srinagar City. He said all possible measures would be taken for achieving the goal of Smart City so that the Srinagarites are provided better and hassle free civic amenities.During the visit, he also inspected the situation and snow clearance measures undertaken by the concerned authorities.The Secretary was accompanied by the officers from Srinagar Development Authority, Lakes & Water Ways Development Authority, Srinagar Municipal Corporation and Town Planning Organization Kashmir.
