Indo Global Colleges in association with Punjab National Bank, Mullanpur organized Awareness Camp on Cashless Payment in surrounding villages of Indo Global Colleges. Students of Indo Global College of Engineering, Architecture, and Education & Management & Technology and NSS team of group of colleges participated in this drive. The awareness camp commenced from Gochar, Kubaberi, Dulwan & Palhanpur villages etc, our target is cover up to 100 plus villages. Students informed the residents about the importance and benefits of cashless payment stating that going cashless was the most suitable weapon to fight corruption and counter black money.Students also advised particularly those residents who have not yet opened their bank account, to open it immediately for cashless transaction.Chairman Indo Global Sukhdev Singla while encouraging the youngsters said that youth plays a key role in spreading the awareness about means to develop a digital economy, as there are people who still do not know how is it easy to make digital transactions or use e-wallets and youngsters can make them understand technology better. They can make them understand that digital transactions are easy and secure, when youngsters meet at individual level and they should explain them the procedure. He also informed students how demonetization has impacted the activities of insurgency and terrorism.
