Paying tributes to Adil Ahmad Reshi, Abid Ahmad Sheikh, and Masood Ahmad Shah, the three youth killed in an encounter at Awoora village of Islamabad district, Hurriyat Conference (m) Chairperson, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Monday said that it is painful that for the past 70 years due to the apathy of international community the stubbornness and arrogance of Indian rulers towards the resolution of the Kashmir dispute and the treachery and betrayal of those at the helm, our fourth generation since 1947 has got dragged into it and are laying down their lives for the cause of their fundamental political right to self determination and for justice.Mirwaiz said people of Kashmir revere and honor the sacrifices of these young martyrs of the motherland whom they see as selfless crusaders in the way of freedom of their motherland.Stressing that the ongoing resistance movement had entered a sensitive phase, the Mirwaiz said the consistency and resolve displayed by the people was the best way of taking the movement to its ultimate goal.He said the people of Kashmir and resistance leadership had been striving and offering sacrifices for the fulfillment of their right to self determination since 1947 and that the baton of the movement was now being handled to the fourth generation of Kashmiris.

The APHC Chairman said the strength shown by Kashmiri youth to brave atrocities and brutal tactics committed by India were commendable as it was due to their pious sacrifices that Kashmir issue had attracted attention of the international community and created an impression worldwide that peace and prosperity in South Asia without resolving the vexed Kashmir issue was impossible.Expressing sympathy and solidarity with the families of the martyred youth, the Mirwaiz said the sacrifices of these youth were the real assets and treasures of the ongoing resistance movement and these sacrifices would be safeguarded at all costs.Meanwhile, APHC spokesman expressed grief over the death of Nazir Ahmad Bhat, the elder brother of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Vice Chairman, Advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat and conveyed sympathy and solidarity with him and the entire bereaved family.Recalling the services of the Bhat family towards the resistance movement, the spokesman paid glowing tributes and prayed to the Almighty Allah to grant Jannat-ul-Firdous to the deceased and forbearance to the bereaved family.
