Minister for Health and Medical Education Mr Bali Bhagat today informed the upper house that government has constituted an inquiry committee to investigate the allegations of molestation against a doctor at GMC Jammu.The Minister was responding to the queries raised by some members in the house, who were demanding time-bound inquiry into the matter.The Health Minister informed the house that an FIR has already been registered against the accused doctor, even as a departmental inquiry instituted to probe the allegation has been asked to submit its report within 10 days.The Minister said the accused doctor has already been put under suspension pending inquiry. He said the law will take its own course and the guilty, whosoever, will face action as per the law.
