Chief Secretary, B R Sharma Thursday chaired the 41st meeting of the Apex Project Clearance Committee (APCC) of SIDCO.The Apex Committee after due deliberations cleared various proposals received by SIDCO for setting up new industrial units. The Committee also accorded approval to the establishment of proposed Technology Centre at Industrial Growth Centre, Samba-Phase III and Biotechnology Park at Industrial Estate Ghatti, Kathua. Both the proposals have already received nod from the State Cabinet.Chief Secretary underscored the need for SIDCO to follow standard industrial norms for optimum utilization of available land at Industrial centres in the State. The Apex Committee called for revisiting the land allotment policy to encourage optimum utilization of land by unit holders.Financial Commissioner, Agriculture Production Department, Mr Promod Jain, Administrative Secretaries of PDD, Finance, I&C and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
