Demonetised notes worth Rs 1.45 crore were seized here on early Friday and three persons were arrested in this connection, police said.Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted the three persons carrying demonetised notes when they were about to enter a building in the Mangoe Lane area of central Kolkata."The accused have revealed some names during interrogation and we are trying to identify those persons," said Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime, Vishal Garg.Meanwhile, running out of patience, angry customers in queues allegedly vandalised two banks in West Bengal's Malda and North Dinajpur districts, police said.
