Director Information and Public Relations, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary has felicitated Mr Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo, Chief Editor, Greater Kashmir for being elected President of the Kashmir Editors Guild (KEG).Dr Shahid has also extended his felicitations to Mr Bashir Manzar, Chief Editor, Kashmir Images, Mr Tahir Mohi-ud-Din, Chief Editor, Chattan for being elected General Secretaries of KEG. “Congratulations to Mr Masood Hussain, Editor Kashmir Life, Mr Haroon Rashid Shah, Executive Editor Nidai-e-Mashriq and Mr Shafat Kira, Editor, Kashmir Vision for being elected as Secretary General, Organizer-cum-Treasurer and Spokesperson of the Guild respectively,” he said and added that as the State’s Director Information, he will be looking forward to build on and strengthen the professional relationship with the media fraternity especially the new office-bearers of KEG, who are among the most experienced names in the field of journalism and have contributed immensely towards institutionalizing the profession in the State.“I will be looking forward to the guidance and cooperation of the new KEG team for effective dissemination of information for the larger good of the State and its people,” Dr Shahid said.
