Inspector General of Police, Jammu, Danish Rana attended the 2nd Annual Day celebrations of Buds n Blossoms School here today.Joint Director Information Jammu, T R Shastri was the guest of honour on the occasion.Speaking on the occasion, IGP emphasized on making the children future ready by providing them with quality education and giving them ample opportunities to excel in field of their choice. He lauded the performance of the children and appreciated the efforts put in by the teachers and the management.Joint Director Information, T R Shastri laid stress on providing a conducive environment for physical and mental development of the children besides their active participation in extracurricular activities.Children presented a scintillating cultural programme and a ramp show showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the state. Exemplary Karate skills, self defence skills were also displayed by the children on the occasion.Earlier the Principal of the school read out the annual report highlighting the key achievements of the school.The students were also felicitated for their achievements in field of academics and other co curricular activities.Among others, Director of the School, Vinay Raina, Principal, staff and students were present on in the function.
