Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin malik on Friday termed the statement of BJP’s National General Secretary, Ram Madev wherein he had stated that resistance camp was inviting terrorists instead of tourists as ‘assertions of a frustrated person’, JKLF chairman “Madev is frustrated because Kashmiris have refused to budge before Indian tyranny and oppression and defeated his politics of deceit and hate,” Malik said in a statement issued to KNS,He said that Kashmiris don’t need anybody like Madev’s certificate to prove their credentials as whole world knows their love and respect for humanity and human values. Malik said that Kashmiris have always remained wedded to the principles of humanity and it were Kashmiris who demonstrated this respect for humanity when whole Asia especially the subcontinent was being trampled by chauvinist forces to which Madev belongs.

Recalling year the 2008 when Kashmiris were blockaded by RSS backed forces and life saving drugs, milk and baby-food for kids was even stopped from coming to Kashmir, JKLF chairman said that “in 2008, when about 72 of our loved ones were killed in cold blood by Indian soldiers, when Kashmiri drivers were burnt alive in Jammu and some parts of India, when Kashmiri students were beaten to death in many states of India and when ration, medicines and other necessary commodities were denied to us, we did not behave inhumanly like those forces Mr. Madev belongs to.” “Keeping humanity first and refraining from any revengeful act Kashmiris not only provided shelter and safety to stranded Yatrees and tourist but took them to their homes and fed them,” Malik added. He said that same was repeated by Kashmiris during 2014 floods when we were devastated by floods but provided safety, shelter and food to thousands of tourists and Indian workers who were stranded in those floods.

JKLF chairman said that respecting guests and pilgrims, safeguarding them and providing them food is taught to us by our great religion Islam and this is also embedded in our Kashmiri culture.“We know how to continue our freedom struggle against all odds and tyranny, we also know how to keep our lives running and remain wedded to human values and ethics. We have never turned a blind eye on humanity and our past and present is a testimony to this fact,” said Malik.JKLF chairman said that Kashmiris are fighting against Indian illegal occupation but when Indian Gujarat was hit by a devastating earthquake it were Kashmiris who donated hundreds of points of blood for Gujarat. “During Latoor Maharsahtra floods and other catastrophes like these that occurred in India, world saw Kashmiris working for humanity despite the fact that India was brutalizing them by about one million occupational forces,” he said.Malik said that Madev cannot understand this human instinct as he and his ideology only knows oppressing and killing weak like in Gujarat. “How can people and ideology that acted as mere collaborator of British occupation during Indian freedom struggle and even killed the hero of their own freedom struggle, understand freedom fighters and respect freedom struggle of nations like Kashmir,” asserted Malik. He said that Ram Madev should know that Jammu Kashmir is not Gujarat or Nagpur where his politics of hate and distress can succeed. “It is the land of warriors who know how to keep striving and simultaneously keep running their life and keep respecting and safeguarding humanity at every cost,” he said.

JKLF chairman has strongly condemned the brutal behaviour of Indian forces at Husanpora Arwani Bijbehara where they not only martyred three more Kashmiris but vandalized more than a dozen residential houses and sheds. He said that by saying that a civilian was martyred by a stray bullet blood hungry forces can not conceal their crimes as they fired bullets and pellets on common people in broad day light. While paying tributes to all the three who embraced ‘martyrdom’, JKLF chairman said that the sacred blood of these martyrs will not go waste and the day is not far when Kashmir will be free from illegal occupation.Meanwhile, JKLF chairman expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Khursheed Ahmad Butt who was the father in law of veteran journalist and editor of Kashmir Uzma Jenab Javed Azar sahib.JKLF chairman also expressed sorrow over the demise of a JKLF activist Abdul Rehman Butt of Sozeith Narbal who breathed his last yesterday.Praying for the heavenly abode for the deceased, JKLF chairman expressed solidarity with their bereaved families.JKLF vice chairman Master Sheikh Muhammad Afzal along with JKLF leaders Zahoor Ahmad Butt and Muhammad Afzal Mir visited the bereaved family of deceased Abdul Rehman Butt and expressed condolences to them.
