Terming Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu’s statements as utter nonsense, Punjab BJP secretary, Vineet Joshi today said that before pointing fingers at the BJP she should clarify if she was ever treated like a puppet in the BJP? Dr, Sidhu had claimed that BJP leaders were puppets in the hands of Akali Dal.Coming down heavily on the former BJP MLA from Amritsar East, Vineet Joshi said, “If Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu had this impression then why did she continue to be a puppet for 5 years and why didn’t she resign from her post? Dr Navjot Kaur claims that she had joined the Congress for its ideology, but she had actually abandoned her principles the day she deserted the BJP”. “A few days back, Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu had termed Capt. Amarinder Singh as power hungry and now she is praising him and the Congress. She bears all the hallmarks of a true opportunist”, added Joshi.
