Prof. Neerja Mattoo, well known educationist and writer, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan.Prof. Mattoo discussed with the Governor her concerns about the varied challenges facing the educational system in the State and the initiatives required to be taken to equip students with knowledge and skills to be able to compete in todays highly competitive and skill oriented job market. The Governor appreciated Prof. Mattoo’s valuable contributions in the educational arena and for bringing out “Miraas” the bi-annual journal which represents the culture and heritage of Kashmir.
