DC Baramulla reviews preventive measures for safeguarding Govt property

Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr. Nassir Ahmad Naqash, today convened a meeting to discuss preventive measures for safeguarding Government property, especially school buildings in the district.Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, ACR, SSP Baramulla, CEO, ZEOs and Principals of various educational institutions of the district attended the meeting.The DC directed all heads of the educational institutions to hold meetings with concerned village committees, lumberdars and chowkidars to ensure full proof mechanism for proper watch and ward of their concerned institutions. They were also directed to remain in touch with concerned police stations and Fire & Emergency Stations for quick response to any untoward incident. It was said that the Education Department has already strengthened watch and wards of educational institutions. The DC said that all possible support would be provided for smooth conduct of upcoming Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations.The meeting was informed that a joint control room with contact no’s 9419603880 and 9103297255 has been established in the CEO’s office for ensuing proper coordination between public and the education department.
