Paying rich tributes to veteran political leader and Former Dy. Chief Minister Late. Mangat Ram Sharma, who was cremated today in Jammu, JKPCC held a condolence meeting on the sad demise of Late. Sharma in Srinagar today and recalled the services rendered by the deceased leader to people and the State. The meeting observed two-minute silence to pay respects to departed leader.The meeting was presided over by Senior Congress Leader and Former Minister Taj Mohi U Din.While condoling the passing away of late Mangat Ram Sharma, Taj Mohi U Din in a statement issued to KNS termed his demise as a great loss to political class in the State, which can never be recovered. Pt. was the most popular & loved political leader in all the three regions, who had a great knowledge of socio, political scenario of the State and was capable to handle the situation arising in the state, from time to time. The deceased has remained dedicated to the cause of serving people all along his life and never had he compromised on the issues concerning people in any of the regions of the State, said Taj Mohi U Din. 

The people of State have great respects and regards for the departed leader, for the fact, he had remained close to people in whatever circumstances. State of J&K has lost a great well-wisher in the demise of the Pt. which is certainly a great loss to people also, who will miss him for a long.PCC Spokesperson Farooq Andrabi while condoling sad demise of Mangat Ram Sharma said that we have lost a great person in the demise of pt. who had never discriminated against any section of the State both in power and opposition and always remained dedicated to the cause of serving people. Pt ji’s leadership qualities shall continue to inspire the present and coming political class, he said. Meanwhile, Former PCC President Peerzada Mohd Syed has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Mangat Ram Sharma and recalled his long association with the deceased.He termed the deceased as a visionary and an upright personality, who was committed to the cause of serving people irrespective of religion or region. Peerzada offered condolence to bereaved family.Those who paid tributes to Pt. Mangat Ram Sharma included District President Abdul Gani Khan, Shameema Iqbal, Mohd Sultan, Irfan Naqib, Mir Rovais, Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan, Shameema Sopori, Surjeet Singh Bakshi, Mohd Hussain Wada, Ab.
