Ahbaab Singh Grewal, General Secretary AAP Kisan and Labour Wing and AAP MLA Candidate for Ludhiana West lashed out harshly on the vandalism indulged in by Ex Akali Sarpanch and his goons who destroyed a Dalit’s home in Jassian Village on the eve of Diwali.Ahbaab Singh Grewal said that “The Ex Akali Sarpanch of Jassian Village, accompanied by his goons and the ASI of Jagatpuri, vandalized and destroyed the home of Manpreet Singh, a Dalit resident of the village on the eve of Diwali. The Ex Akali Sarpanch, whose sistear in law is currently the Sarpanch of the village, arrived at Manpreet’s home along with his goons, late at night and destroyed the whole home.The height of lawlessness under this Akali Government is apparent from the fact that he was accompanied by the ASI of Jagatpuri Police Station who helped him to destroy the totally legally constructed house. This shows how the Akali Goons and Police are hand in glove and bestowed this terrible Diwali gift to a Dalit family.”Ahbaab Singh Grewal further added that just because the Ex Akali Sarpanch had political clout, the police is not registering any FIR or recording any eyewitness statements for this heinous act. This shows the dismal state of law and order in Punjab under this corrupt SAD/BJP combine. The people will surely throw them out in the coming Assembly elections in 2017.
