Minister for Agriculture Production, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura today convened a meeting about various  on-going social welfare schemes in Chrar-e-Sharief.   The Minister took note of ICDS Schemes, Marriage Assistance Schemes, scholarship schemes and old age pension schemes.Stressing the need for proper implementation of ICDS Schemes, the Minister said that Social Welfare department must gear up to provide better Aganwari centres with proper nutrition and hygiene. He directed the officers to identify the space for establishment of additional 40 Aganwari centres in Char-e-Sharief.During the meeting, the Minister was informed that in 2016, 7125 of post-matric and pre-matric, 3502 pensioners under ISSS, 1502  pensioners under NSAP and 7 widows under National Family Benefit Scheme (NFBS), 345 under Aasra Schme were covered in Chrar-e-Sharief.
