Awami Itihad Party (AIP) has announced secretariat gheraw program on 24th October against the illegal and unjustified termination of 12 government employees by state government.According to a statement issued to KNS, while interacting with people at different place in Handwara and Kupwara Er. Rasheed said, “Sacking of twelve government employees has exposes true faces of Mehbooba mufti, who has now openly dressed and coloured herself in RSS agenda. She and her stooges need to understand that government employees are part of society and like every Kashmiri they have sentiments and aspirations and can never even dream of isolating themselves from their people. Like every Kashmiri, government employees have suffered, lost their beloved ones during last 28 years and many of them have been martyred. Let Mehbooba Mufti explain if seeking resolution of J&K dispute by government employees is extra constitutional, how can Mehbooba Mufti justify forcing government employees to participate in army and police sponsored republic and so called independence day functions. Who doesn’t know that when a minister has to address a gathering, aanganwadi workers, VLWs, Aasha Workers and employees of dozens of departments are forced to sit in the gatherings and clap the ministers, as common masses don’t now given even a damn to these proxies of Sang Parivar.
May Mehbooba ask why were thousands of policemen forced to participate in 15th August celebration not only in Srinagar but all across state.” Er Rasheed assured employees that every Kashmiri feels their pain and we will stand with sincerity and commitment to stop bulldozing rights of Kashmiris, including that of employees.Er Rasheed reminded so called spokesperson of coalition government Nayeem Akhtar of the fact that when he like these employees was terminated from services in 1990 and all government employees went for a 72 day long agitation against Jagmohan regime’s decision and forced him to revoke the termination of few government employees including that of Nayeem Akhtar. “If these employees are anti-nationals as being narrated by the government then why should not Nayeem Akhtar be send to Tihar jail for being the biggest anti-national. Infact Nayeem Akhtar has neither been sincere to Kashmiris then and nor he has any love for Kashmir as on date.PDP has lost the moral right to rule the state and can’t claim representing Kashmiris at any front. It would be for better for Mehbooba to merge PDP with RSS or Ram Sena, so that all confusions are cleared ones for all” Er Rasheed added. (KNS)
