Universal Group of Institutions organised Euphoria 2k16 talent hunt show at its premises. More than 300 students participated in the event. There was a complete ambience of joy .Students were actively engaged in exhibiting their talent. Every student was given ample opportunities to participate and show their talent. Students come up with varied talent abilities and interest buried deep within them. Students competed in a number of competitions like singing, dancing, acrobatics, acting, drumming, martial arts, playing an instrument etc . The main reason behind organizing these competitions is to nurture the intrinsic qualities of students and remove the fear of stage among students, which helps in personality development too. The chief guest for the event was Krishal Pal Sharma, Chairman-District Planning Board, Mohali.
Dr.Gurpreet Singh, Chairman, Universal Group Of Institutions congratulated the winners and motivated the students to draw inspiration from their lives and achieve success. He also advised the students to lay stress on dedication and discipline and polish their talent. He further added that youth is the strength of any nation and they should invest into their energy positively. According to him such competitions generally aim at bringing forth the hidden talent of the students and assisting them to recognize their calibre. The biggest challenge is how students can manage and apply them creatively and such competitions improve qualities to excel in life. On this event the college toppers who bagged positions in University merit list were also awarded with cash prizes.
