Aam Aadmi Party on Monday reacted strongly on Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal's statement that Punjabis should vote him to extend his life for another 10 years. In a Press Statement, AAP leader and MP Sangrur, Bhagwant Mann said that this is the basic difference between SAD and AAP leaders that one is concerned about himself and his family but AAP is concerned about the well being of Punjab and Punjabis.Mann said that CM Badal has spent around 9 decades on the earth and from last many elections he has been asking for the votes being his last tenure. While CM is enjoying the post for 5th time, the people of state are dying every day.
Sangrur MP said that the average age of farmers committing suicide in Punjab is 30-40 years while 90% of deaths happened due to Drugs being circulated by Bikram Majithia are of youngsters between age group 20-30. He said that average age of unemployed youth in the state is 25-30 years while most of the 20-30 years old youngsters have been forced to leave the country by the bad policies of Badals and settle abroad.Mann said that it is so heartless act that even after leading a long life, a person is still thinking about himself while the youngsters are dying every day in Punjab. He said that Badal has befooled people presenting himself as savior of the religion but the reality is that he has damaged Sikh religion much more than Ahmad Shah Abdali did.Addressing the people of Punjab, Mann said that now the people of state have to decide whom they want to vote, one who thinks about himself and his family or the party which is working hard to make Punjab the greatest state of India again.
