Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad, former Chairman of J&K Bank, called on Governor N.N. Vohra, at the Raj Bhavan here today.The Governor and Mr. Ahmad discussed the various major challenges faced and the lessons to be learnt from the Bank’s operations in the recent years with the objective of playing a growingly larger role in speeding up the growth and development of the State and also providing targeted support to identified segments of the economy, particularly the craftsmen, weavers and artisans, horticulturists and entrepreneurs.Mr. Ahmad completed his term as Chairman J&K Bank yesterday. The Governor wished him good health and happiness in all his future endeavours.
