Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Baramulla inaugurated a week-long cleanliness drive at District Hospital Baramulla today. Tehsildar Baramulla, Executive officer Municipal council Baramulla, Medical Superintendent and senior district officers took part in the cleanliness drive.On the occasion, the ADC said that several programmes would be organized at Hospitals, religious places, schools and other public places in the district to make people aware about the importance of clean surroundings and maintaining hygiene. He said a separate campaign against use of polythene and its harmful effects would be started, so as to make the district polythene free.Earlier the Additional Deputy Commissioner along with the officers and officials of Municipal Council Baramulla took out a rally carrying banners and ply cards to sensitize people about the special cleanliness campaign.
