The Punjab Education Minister, Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema has issued instruction to make the provision alternate arrangement of education for the students of border districts who have to displaced from their native places in the wake of escalation of tension on the Indo-Pak Border.In a press communiqué released here today Mr. Cheema said that students who have been shifted to relief camps would get the education in the nearby schools. He said that these students would not be required to take formal admission and to deposit any fee in these schools. He said that the education department would take care of all the needs of these students so that their formal education may not suffer. He said that if dur the influx of more students proper class room teaching is effected then the special separate section would be created in the schools. Dr. Cheema further said that if any students who have not shifted to relief camps but had gone to his relative’s place, he may also attend the nearby schools without any formal admission or fee depositing.
