Oakridge International School celebrated the values of Gandhiji by celebrating the Gandhigiri week. The theme was be the change you want to see in the world. During the week, children found out few life incidences of Gandhi ji and related them to the IB Learners Profile attributes. On concluding day walkathon, flash mob and other activities were conducted in sector 17 from singing the favourite bhajan to the spectacular dance performance in the end, the audience were left spell bound. The show stopper was the energetic and beautiful street play representing the ideologies of Gandhi ji that still ring true. The purpose behind the event was to connect Students to the values of Gandhi ji.
Principal of the school Ramanjit Ghuman said that Gandhi ji’s values are the future and present of the world.
