District Development Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Aijaz today chaired a meeting   to discuss the arrangements put in place by the different departments for forthcoming visit of Chief Justice of India(CJI), Justice T.S. Thakur  to district Ramban.Chief Justice of India is scheduled to arrive on October 8 for today stay in the district.The meeting was informed that CJI along with other dignitaries will inaugurate, Justice D.D Thakur Memorial Library at District Court Ramban, Munsiff Court at Ukhral (Kunchi), Community Hall at Batroo, Ukhral and Lay the foundation stone of Munsiff Court Complex at Ukhral (Hunga) besides gracing welcome and inaugural function at Government Higher Secondary School, Complex, Ukhral.The meeting discussed the arrangements   including security preparedness, traffic management on NH44 and Ukhral road, parking of public and private vehicles, accommodation, boarding and lodging, catering, seating plan, medical facility, drinking water, power supply, sanitary arrangements besides several other related issues.The DC directed all concerned departments to ensure all arrangements well in time and work in coordination with each other for success of scheduled functions. Chief Justice of High Court of J&K Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar, Minister for Rural Development & Panchayti Raj and Law, Abdul Haq Khan, Judges of Supreme Court of India,  Justice D Y Chandrachud, Justice A.M Khanwilkar, Justice S A Bobde, Justice Anil R Dave, Judge High Court of J&K, Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir and other dignitaries would accompany the CJI during the visit.The meeting was attended by SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar, ADC Babu Ram, CPO Parshotam Kumar, ACD, G. H. Kripak, Executive Engineers of PDD and PHE, Habib Choudhary and Hamesh Manchanda respectively besides other concerned.
