Punjabi University, Patiala-Fatehgarh Zone Youth Fest today started with vibrant & energetic performances in which around 4000 students of 25 colleges participated at Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh. Chairman, Punjab Khadi Board, S. Harjit Singh Grewal was the Chief Guest Social worker. S. Kuldeep Singh Bhangewala was the Guest of Honour while Chairman, Aryans Group, Dr. Anshu Kataria presided over the function.The function commenced with the lamp lightning ceremony by the Guests. 2nd day of the fest observed vibrant and energetic performances in both cultural & non cultural including western instruments-Prakashan & Non-Prakashan, Western solo Instruments, western solo singing, western group singing, one act play, mimicry, debate, declamation, poem recitation, cartooning, poster making etc.Speaking on the occasion Grewal said that this series of the Techno-cultural fest would enhance students to students & college to college contact, increase interstate cultural ties and deepen the historical & cultural bonds.Popular Punjabi Sarthi K regaled the visitors with his mimicry of various singers including Babbu Mann, Kanwar Grewal, Jazzy B, Ranjit Bawa etc.He enthralled the audience with his superhit performances.
