The Regional Red Cross Branch Kashmir on Saturday organized a voluntary blood donation camp at Red Cross House Exchange Road Srinagar in collaboration with Blood Transfusion Deptt (Bone and Joint Hospital Barzulla Srinagar).“Around 50 donors arranged by various NGOs and Red Cross volunteers donated blood in the camp,” they said.They said that the blood that was collected through blood donation camp will be utilized for the injured persons and for those who are in emergency and are admitted in different hospitals of the Valley. The Regional Red Cross Branch Kashmir hailed the effort and appreciated donors as well as organizations who came forward and made the blood donation camp a success. “We hope to organize such more camps in future also,” they said.
