Hurriyat Sikh Leader and Jammu Kashmir Social Peace Forum chairman, Adv. Devinder Singh Thursday visited SMHS hospital Srinagar, Kashmir and enquired about the health condition of several injured persons there.In a statement issued to KNS, he said “for last seventy five days at least hundred innocent people were killed, thousands were injured and hundreds lost their eyes due pellet firing.”Singh said, “India and Pakistan should start peace talks on Kashmir without any further delay and also involve Kashmiri leader in peace talks.”He said that in past so many years, both the countries talk on Kashmir but no fruitful result came out.Singh said “as world knows both India and Pakistan are nuclear powers and we have already seen mass destruction of nuclear weapon in Japan where their signs are still relevant. So we appeal international community to resolved JK issue peacefully without resolving K-issue both India and Pakistan can’t go forward and peace can’t be establish in south Asia.Hurriyat leader also appealed Human Rights of the world, Amnesty International and civil society of India to come forward and stop use of bullet and Pellet in Kashmir as innocent people of Kashmir are being targeted every day.Adv. Devindar Singh also appealed for release of all political leaders and youth from jails.JKSPF chief appealed all section of society to maintain communal harmony and brother-hood in Jammu and Kashmir.He said in this crucial time Sikhs of Jammu Kashmir are stand with their Muslim brothers.
