Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, today called for early redressal of public grievances and effective implementation of Government’s welfare porgrammes for the overall progress and development of the State.The Minister said this during a day-long tour of Budgam district to review availability of basic amenities to the people. During his visit various public delegations called on the Minister and apprised him about various issues confronting them.Mr. Lone patiently listened to the grievances relating to supply of electric power, safe drinking water supply, repair of roads, waving off Kissan Credit loans and other issues and assured them of early redressal.During his visit, the Minister lauded the district administration for providing basic facilities to the people despite many odds. He also expressed grief over the loss of lives during the last two months and appealed for peace and sought cooperation of people in restoring law and order situation.On the occasion, MLC Saif-ud-Din Bhat, DC Budgam Mir Altaf and other senior district officers were present.
