Competent Foundation, a charitable organization headed by Tandon Family, organized a Sai Bhajan Sandhya at Tagore Theater, Chandigarh, through a famous and renowned singer, Padamshri Hans Raj Hans.The programme was started with lighting of lamp by Hon’ble Sh. Shivraj V. Patil, Governor of Punjab and Administrator of UT Chandigarh. Prior to this on the arrival of Sh. Patil, he was welcomed by Sh. Balramji Dass Tandon Former Minister, Punjab, and Sh. Sanjay Tandon, Secretary of the Foundation. Sh. Patil and Sh. Tandon honoured Sh. Hansraj Hans by presenting a shawl.The musical evening began with the performance of Satyam Tandon who presented beautiful bhajans ‘Naam japan kyu chhoda man re’, and ‘Ghoonghat ke pat khol re man’. The performance was highly applauded by the audience. Renowned Sufi Singer and Padamshri Hansraj Hans started his soul-touching performance with ‘Aaj ki ye sham mere sai ji ke naam hai’. After this, he presented ‘Garaj Baras Pyasi Dharti per fir paani de maula’ and ‘Suno Sai Baba Jagat Ke mali’, ‘Nit khair manga dar te main tere’, ‘Damadam mast kalandar…’ . His sweet voice and melodious music made the audience to stick to their seats.
The programme was attended by Sh. Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab, Justice M.M.Punchhi, former Chief Justice of India, Sh. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa Member Parliament, Sh. Bhagat Chunnilal , Sh. Madan Mohan Mittal, SSP Naunihal Singh among others.
