The Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today met the representatives of more than 35 employees associations in the presence of higher officials of different departments to consider their charter of demands. The Deputy Chief Minister instructed the concerned officials of the departments to prepare a detailed report on the demands submitted by the organizations in order to give this due consideration and take speedy action.In a meeting held at Punjab Bhawan, the various employees organizations under the leadership of President Employee Wing Surinder Singh Pehalwan presented their charter of demands in their meeting with the Deputy Chief Minister S. Sukhbir Singh Badal and Rural Development & Panchayat Minister, Sikander Singh Maluka. The major demand was to regularize the adhoc employees. The Deputy Chief Minister assured the employees organizations to give a sympathetic consideration to all their just demands.

The President Employee Wing Surinder Singh Pehalwan and other employee leaders thanked the Deputy Chief Minister for giving a patient hearing to their demands.Among those present in the meeting included MLA Surinder Singla, Principal Secretary (Revenue) K.B.S. Sidhu, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister---S.K. Sandhu, Principal Secretary (Education) G. Vajralingam, Principal Secretary (Health and Family Welfare) Vinni Mahajan, Special Principal Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister--- Rahul Tewari and leaders of employees front Karamjit Singh Bhagrana President Karamchari Dal and Vice President Employees Wing, General Secretaries Harpal Singhand B.S. Sekhon and Secretary Gurcharan Singh Kauli.
