JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir has asked the State Government and the Administration below to ensure supply of essentials like Ration, Sugar Kerosene, cooking gas etc to people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, which is being celebrated very shortly, besides ensuring that they (people) do not face any inconvenience, in any way, on this occasion.PCC Chief was apprised at many places by the common people in Anantnag today, that essentials were running short, while the Administration has been claiming to have no paucity of essentials. He urged the authorities to keep a proper check on essentials and ensure that these will remain available to people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha and ahead.Meanwhile, JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of mother of senior Journalist from South Kashmir Maqbool Veeray and condoled her demise.Mir accompanied by MLA Shangus Gulzar Ahmad Wani and General PCC Hilal Ahmad Shah visited Maqbool Veeray at Khanabal Anantnag today, and offered condolences to him.While sympathizing with the bereaved family, particular, with Maqbool Veeray, PCC Chief prayed for peace to departed soul and for the courage to bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
