District Development Commissioner, Bandipora, Sajad Hussain today reviewed the progress of Adhaar seeding for various schemes being implemented in the district at a meeting of district officers held here under chairmanship.The issues related to seeding the schemes and its benefits to the beneficiaries were discussed in detail and it was decided that a special drive in this regard will be undertaken to expedite the process in the district. The DDC expressed satisfaction over the progress under the scheme and directed the officers to pay special attention towards the beneficiaries registered under Social Welfare department for availing the benefits under the Centrally Sponsored welfare schemes.The DDC further directed to facilitate the beneficiaries registered with Labour Department to submit their Adhaar numbers to Assistant Labour Commissioner Bandipora within 15 days enabling them to avail the benefits hassle-free. The consumers of CA&PD Department who have not been enrolled will be asked to get their biometrics done to provide the same to their respective storekeepers.Among others, Assistant Commissioner Revenue and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
