State Vice President BJP Mahila Morcha Dr Hina Shafi Bhat Saturday appealed the state government to ensure safety and security of common people who want to live a normal and peaceful life and are caught in the current turmoil for no fault of theirs. In a statement to KNS she said that hundreds of needy people who travel on various roads in Kashmir face attacks at the hands of ‘miscreants’ and there is a need to further strengthen the security environment. “Needy people who are on way to hospitals or visiting relatives and friends for condolences and emergencies have been attacked by stone pelters in past 57 days. These stone pelters and miscreants who are supported and sponsored by separatists have turned lives of poor and common people into hell and such elements need to be dealt with iron hand under law,” the BJP leader said.

“Time has come when poorest of poor and oppressed lot of society are freed from ugly clutches of separatist engineered violence,” she said.Dr. Hina cautioned separatist that by “sponsoring and encouraging anarchy even their own kiths and kin won't remain safe and these miscreants will ultimately become Frankenstein monsters for them only.”“The separatists by sponsoring stone pelting are nurturing cancer for society which will eat up them as well,” she claimed.“This place and people have already suffered huge losses and damages in terms of precious human lives and economy for a futile cause. Nothing ever can be achieved by wanton violence being orchestrated by Pakistan sponsored separatists who have received huge chunks of money for setting this place at fire,” she said and expressed deep anguish and sorrow for loss of precious human lives in “separatist orchestrated violence.” (KNS)
