BJP national secretary Tarun Chugh has alleged that AAP national convener and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal was so desperate to grab power in Punjab that he didn't mind playing with fire and instructed his party men to help Sikh radicals organize Sarbat Khalsa in November last year.Kejriwal said that though it was already known that Kejriwal was ready to go to any extent to further his political career, this has now come from the horse's mouth that AAP Punjab unit was directed by top leadership in Delhi to extend support to Sarbat Khalsa.  He said party's former state convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur has now himself revealed that the party supported Sarbat Khalsa on the orders from the powers that be.Chugh said any direct or indirect support to a program where anti-national resolutions were passed was an act against the country and its people.

He also said that it was very sad that some credible leaders were now alleging that top leaders of the party were coming to the state with a motive to make money and exploit women rather than to work for the benefit of Punjab and for expanding the base of their party."This is ironical that while the party shunted out half of its parliamentary elections candidates as they didn't fit into their unjust and corrupt system while half of its MLAs in Delhi have been embroiled in major controversies," he said. It is highly condemnable and unfortunate that a party has no inhibitions and wants to attain power even with the help of people who pass anti-national resolutions in their meetings, he said.
