Education Minister Allots Stations To Newly Promoted 411 Lecturers As Per Their Choice

The Education Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema today handed over appointment and posting orders to the newly promoted 411 Lecturers and 8 Vocational Masters. Stations were allotted to these Lecturers as per their choice.Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema while addressing these newly promoted Lecturers said that the education department has allotted the station to the Lecturers adopting a transparent online procedure. He said that promotions and new recruitment is top priority of the department.Divulging the details he said that all the newly promoted 241 Political Science and 170 History Lecturers were called so that they could opt for their choice posting as per the availability. He said all the vacant stations were being flashed on a big screen. All the Lecturers were asked to give their preferences against the vacant station flashing on the screen. The stations were allotted at the spot as per the request of the Lecturers.Dr. Cheema also exhorted them to discharge their duties of new assignment with full dedication and sincerity and become catalyst in making education system employment oriented.Prominent among others who were present in the function included Mr. Balbir Singh Dhol, DPI (Secondary Education), Mrs. Pankaj Sharma, DPI (Elementary Education), Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur Dhaliwal, Director Administration, Mr. Shiv Pal, District Education Officer, Mr. Karamjit Singh, Deputy Director and Dr. Ginni Duggal, Deputy Director SCERT.
