For the cause of saving Punjab and creating a society free from fear, the President of Sri Bramhan Sabha Punjab, Devi Dyal Prashar with other office bearers joined Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday. Miffed by the anti-people policies of SAD-BJP alliance government in Punjab, Sri Bramhan Sabha announced to support AAP in upcoming Punjab elections in 2017.Member of Parliament from Sangrur, Bhagwant Mann and President, Trade and Industry wing and AAP candidate from Sunam, Aman Arora welcomed the new members into party fold. Addressing the media, Mann said that people are fed up with the traditional parties in Punjab and seeking new thoughts and policies to revive the economy and peace in Punjab.Sri Bramhan Sabha was founded by Pandit Madan Mohan Malvia in 1934. Devi Dyal Prashar has been serving the people for many years and has been elected unopposed president of Sabha for 10 years. Prashar said that Badals have ruined the social structure in Punjab and that is the reason many social and religious groups are supporting AAP. 

The people of Punjab are hopeful that after forming the government AAP will root out corruption in Punjab.Prashar said that the Sabha had supported SAD-BJP and Congress in different elections but the traditional parties have been failed to bring back the glory of state. As an industrialist he has seen the trade being ruined and plight of industry to other states because of the bad policies and interference of Badals.Vice President, Vinod Vashist, General Secretary, Hari Krishan Sharma, Dist. President, DEra Bassi, Satish Sharma, Vice Chairman, Youth Wing, Dinesh Kumar Pappu, Rural President, Patiala, Rama Sarpanch, Jatinder Pal, Gagan Kaushal, Ram Asre Pandey, Nitesh Kumar, Rajiv Kumar, Avdesh Narayan Pander, Roshan Kumar, Mandeep Kumar, Mitul Kumar, Ritesh Kumar and Abhi Sharma were also among the new members who joined party fold.
