Deputy Chairman J&K Legislative Council Jahangir Hussain Mir hoisted National Flag at Meelaad Chowk amid a large number of people gathered to celebrate the 70th Independence Day.Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chairman paid tributes to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our nation. He said that we should always remember their sacrifice and pay homage to them.He said that the nation can be made more secured and united by following the non violence, tolerance and secular teachings of our freedom fighters especially Gandhi Ji.
