Keeping in view the interest of thousands of Kashmiri students, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh requested Spicejet airlines to continue with the Chandigarh – Srinagar flight which is going to be halted.As per the recent news, Spice jet has decided to withdraw the airlines services of Delhi-Chandigarh-Srinagar flight-320 from 13th August due to the off season. This flight takeoff from Chandigarh airport at 2:30pm to Srinagar More than 300 passengers travel through this flight.Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while speaking said that as things are getting better in the valley, students have started moving back to their campuses. JK students are much dependent on this flight due to its cheap fare, direct air connectivity and less time consumption.Kataria further added that majority of JK students are studying in various Colleges outside Kashmir near Chandigarh. More than 1200 students from JK are studying at Aryans Group of Colleges, Near Chandigarh. The new academic session has already been started and students have started reporting back to their colleges.
