Deputy Chairman Legislative Council Jahangir Hussain Mir today visited Shri Buddha Amarnath Shrine and took stock of the arrangements made for visiting pilgrims.During the visit, he met with the members of Mandir Management Committee and sought their feedback regarding arrangements besides any additional requirements. He also met Swami Vishvatamanand Ji Maharaj on the occasion.Deputy Chairman while appealing the people to maintain peace and harmony in the region sought active cooperation of the religious leaders in this regard. He added that peace and tranquility are the prerequisites for the development of any society.Meanwhile, he also visited District Hospital Poonch for enquiring the well being of the injured persons.
