District Development Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Aijaz today convened a meeting of district officers to finalise the arrangements for Independence Day celebrations.DDC reviewed the arrangements for security, traffic management, sanitation, fire services, drinking water, uninterrupted power supply, sitting arrangements, parking etc., and directions were issued to the concerned officers to make requisite arrangements in timeIt was informed in the meeting that the main event would be held at District Police Lines Ground, Ramban where the VIP will unfurl the National flag and take salute at the march past.ADDC, Ravinder Nath Sadhu, ACR Vevaik Puri,ASP,Mushtaq Choudhary,CPO Parshotam Kumar,Dy.SP Traffic Police, Dy. CEO, ALC, Executive Engineers of PHE, PWD, (R&B),PDD, Himesh Manchanda,Amar Singh and Habib Choudhary respectively besides the Principals of Government Schools, Heads of the Private Educational Institutions, Deputy Commandant CRPF, SS Rana and Maj. Nipun were present in the meeting.
