4 Years Imprisonment To Tehsildar In Graft Case

The Hon’ble court of Mr. Sanjiv Joshi, Additional Sessions Judge, Ludhiana has awarded 4 years imprisonment to Rajesh Verma, Tehsildar in the case of bribery.Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau, Punjab said that the court besides 4 years sentence, Rs.20,000 fine has also been imposed on Rajesh Verma, who was trapped while taking bribe. He said that FIR No. 75 under section 7, 13 (2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 was registered at Vigilance Bureau Police Station, Ludhiana, in this regard.
