Punjab Revenue Minister Minister Bikram Singh Majithia accused Delhi Chief Minister Mr. Arvind Kejriwal of running politics of lies in Delhi which will not be successful in Punjab. He said that SAD-BJP alliance will fight the elections on the sole agenda of development agenda and was all set to form government for third time consecutive term in Punjab.S. Bikram Singh Majitha was in the city to inaugurate two Sub Registrar offices 1-2 modernized with the ultra modern facilities at the cost of Rs 5 Crore. Interacting with the media persons Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia said that to provide hassle free citizen friendly services to the citizens Punjab Revenue department has Sub registrar of big cities in the state are being equipped with ultra modern world class facilities on the pattern of passport offices. Mr. Majithia said that in the first phase new sub registrar offices with all latest people friendly facilities are established at Amritsar-1-2, Jalandhar 1-2, Ludhiana- West, East & Central, Bathinda and Patiala and more are coming at Derabassi, Kharar, Moga, Pathankot and Hoshiarpur.
Mr. Majithia further said that Punjab is fully committed to develop world class infrastructure to provide better services to the citizens for which construction of 7 District Complexes and 20 Tehsil Complexes are near completion with cost of 250 Crore which will be dedicated to the people by the October end this year.Talking about the steps taken by the Punjab Revenue department for the welfare of the people Mr. Majithia said that department launched e-stamping and 70 percent people are benefiting from this facility. Revenue Department had set up 164 Fard computerized Kendras in the state from which approximately 1 crore people have benefited other than this Punjab government has waived off stamp duty for the transfer of property in blood relations.Mr. Majithia said that their political rivals are propagating false statements regarding Punjab economic condition whereas Punjab is now Power surplus and providing cheapest electricity to the industry and free power to the farmers. Punjab is first state to launch Atta Dal Scheme which is being copied by the centre and other states, added Majithia.Asked to comment on the defamation case filed in the Amritsar court Mr. Majithia said that Delhi Chief Minister is playing politics of double speak and not only misleading the people but the hon’able courts also. He said that Kejriwal and his aides level baseless false allegations against their political opponents in the media and when brought to court they escape by getting bails.
Mr Majithia cited the example of one of the senior most leaders of the AAP, Ashish Khaitan’s ‘outrageous lie’ before the court in Amritsar, in which he had declared that he could not attend the court as he had been advised bed rest for three days, that is July 29 to 31. The court exempted him from personal appearance that day on medical grounds, believing that Mr Khaitan might beconfined to bed. But this statement before the court turned out to be a BIG LIE AND A massive fraud when the same Mr Khaitan appeared on television channels yesterday to argue his party’s case on the issue of poor management of sewerage and drainage by AAP government in Delhi following rains. Mr. Majithia described Ashish Khaitan’s misleading statement before the honourable court as ‘a most serious Act and Contempt of Court. He said that Mr Khaitan is the same AAP leader who had committed the gravest sacrilege of declaring Sri Guru Granth Sahib and the AAP manifesto as equal in their eyes. The Revenue Minister said that this was a fit case where suo motto cognizance of Mr Khaitan’s lies seen in his act of attending TV debates during the supposed “bed rest” period could also be taken by the Hon’ble Court.Asked to comment on Mr. Kejriwal going for 'vipassana' meditation course Mr. Majithia said that Punjabi Youth have given a befitting reply to Mr. Kejriwal ordefaming them during f his visit to the Amritsar to court few days back therefore he is escaping from facing people in the name of such courses.
Mr. Majithia once again dared Mr. Kejriwal to give come forward for day to day hearing in the defamation case. He said that Kejriwal’s politics is totally based on lies, he is not able to give any jobs to the youth in Delhi and making fake promises in Punjab to give 25 lakh jobs to youth. Mr. majitha said that Mr. Kejriwal is 100 percent Nauntankibaj who just want to rise in politics by targeting established people with false allegations. Earlier Mr. Kejriwal started his politics by targeting Industrialists and then Gandhi Family and now he has started mud sledging on Prime Minister.Mr. Majithia commenting on the Punjab Congress he said that no one is ready to become incarge of Punjab Congress because congress has totally lost its ground in the state because congress will face defeat for the third consecutive time and nobody want take the blame. He said that Punjab Congress President Captian Amrinder Sing is trying to get milage on the SYL issue but every single children of the state knows that its Captain who himself was part of inauguration of SYL along with then Prime Minister Mrs Indra Gandhi gave advertisements in the paper for the welcome of Mrs Gandhi. He said that Akali Dal has always took stand against the cinstruction of SYL and S. Parkash Singh Badal was arrested for saving waters of Punjab and now also Chief Minister has also cleared his stand in the Vidhan Sabha that not even a single drop of water will be allowed to go out of Punjab.
