The dreams of over 150 students who aspired to study in Canada are all set to turn into reality. It was a moment of immense joy as the students of Continental Institute of International Studies (CIIS), a parent campus of Continental Group of Institutes, got their travel documents in a special investiture Ceremony. Having completed their first year of study at CIIS, these students would now be going to the parent campus in some of the top colleges and universities of Canada.Lt Gen BKN Chibber, Former Governor, Punjab was the Chief Guest at the occasion and he wished the students luck for a bright future. Congratulating the students and the parents, he said, “It is a great feat for Punjab that some of our students are going to one of the top global destinations like Canada to complete their education. This is a great endeavour that will help the state and the country to reach the pinnacle of success when our students come back and serve the nation. CGI is doing a great job in educating the rural masses and I wish them luck for this noble cause.”Lt Col (Retd) BS Sandhu (President, CGI) handed the students their transfer documents along with the chief guest and campus director Dr MS Grewal. Col Sandhu congratulated the students and said that CGI was proud to be churning out huge talent in the sectors like IT, Computer Sciences, Hospitality, Engineering and many other sectors. “It is an honour when our students are selected by the educational institutes of Canada and it is a matter of pride that our past students are doing well in their respective fields.”

Dr Grewal thanked everyone and introduced the upcoming courses like Hotel & Restaurant Management, Aviation Management, Electronics Engineering, Interactive Web Designing that offered immense potential for students wanting to study in Canada. “These students will now pursue their second year in various different courses like Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Business Program, Bachelor of Computing Science and Business Administration.”He also congratulated all the faculty and staff for putting in the genuine efforts to shape their students. CIIS is a unique institution to be partner with best colleges and universities abroad. He said the CIIS was the largest institute of international education in India.
