National Conference General Secretary and former Minister Ali Muhammad Sagar Thursday warned the PDP led government to give up its policy of arresting and harassing the youth lest it should repent.“The party has been receiving complaints across Kashmir especially in Kulgam and Srinagar that people are being harassed, housed are raided, inmates thrashed and youth are being detained in police raids. We have already asked police to stop this process and we warn PDP that such tactics will have serious ramifications,” Sagar told CNS.He said that PDP has been pursuing anti-people policies and it has let loose a reign of terror across Kashmir. He alleged that the government has created an atmosphere of fear and terror for the youth and their parents.Ali Muhammad Sagar said that people have been facing immense problems due to continuous curfew and restrictions. “There is shortage of food and medicines while the government instead of providing respite to the common people is busy in harassing and intimidating them,” Sagar said.
