Within hours of the launch of a special phone number by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on which people could give a miss call to express their belief that Majithia is involved in a drug trade, it got tremendous response as more than 1.16 lakh dialled this special number to express their views.“We have launched a special phone number (800 700 6003) inviting a miss call on this number by anyone who believes Majithia is involved in drug trade and Badals were shielding him”, AAP Spokesperson, Sukhpal Singh Khaira said adding that it is ensured that the party would not reveal the identity of the caller. He further revealed that in an open challenge to Badals, a number of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) volunteers have put up hoardings across the state against Revenue Minister Bikram Majithia alleging his involvement in drug smuggling.
Even after repeated statements of Jagdish Bhola, Badals have not taken any action against Majithia.“By suing our leaders Akalis think that they will be able to bend us but it is just their wish. All volunteers will put up such hoardings. I dare the Akalis to take action against all the people for calling Majithia drug lord as even the kids in Punjab know who is behind the drug trade in Punjab. Let Badals put thousands of Punjabis in jail for defamation. ” AAP leader said adding that nearly 300 such hoardings would be put up in each Lok Sabha constituency before July 29, when the next hearing against Kejriwal is scheduled.
