A complete shutdown was Thursday observed in Kargil town to mark a protest against the civilian killings killed during the protests following the killing of Hizb commander Burhan Muzaffar Wani on July 8 in Kokernag area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district. Reports said that all the shops and business establishments were closed while the traffic remained off the roads throughout the day. Pertinently, the shutdown call was given by Imam Khomeini Trust on Wednesday. (KNS)
