Deputy Chairman Legislative Council & Chairman of Minority Deptt. Of JKPCC Jahangir Ahmed Mir - along with Additional Commissioner Jammu Arun Manhas today visited Shri Amarnath Yatri Niwas Bhawan, Bhagwatinagar Jammu and took stock of the essential services for the yatris and also reviewed their security arrangements.While interacting with the pilgrims there was complaint that they are facing the problem of medical facilities, hygienic and sanitation facilities at the Yatri Bhawan. Dy. Chairman called upon the concerned authorities for ensuring proper hygienic and sanitation facilities to the pilgrims besides providing sufficient accommodation. He also stressed the need of providing fool proof security to the pilgrims enroute to holy cave of Shri Amarnath Ji and return journey also.Dy. Chaiman assured the yatris that they will be provided all sort of help in order to ensure their safe and happy Yatrah.Vice Chairman Minority Deptt. PCC S Gurdarshan Singh, S. Gajan Singh, Michael Wazir, Mian Nazir Ahmed, Dalbir Singh, Praveen Singh, Baldev Singh Wazir, Ch. Mohd. Tariq and Davinder Singh also accompanied Mr. Jahangir Mir. (KNS)
