DDC Baramulla takes stock of availability of essentials

District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Dr Nasir Naqash today took stock of the availability of essential commodities in district Baramulla at a joint meeting of the officers and the representatives of civil society, Beopar Mandal, Traders Federation, Drug Association and LPG distributers.Additional Deputy Commissioner, Joint Director Planning, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Assistant Director CA&PD and other officers from various departments were present in the meeting.Speaking at the meeting, the DDC said that people should not be put to any inconvenience for want of essentials during the prevailing law and order situation. He sought cooperation of all the stakeholders in ensuring adequate supply of essentials to the people including rations, LPG, medicines and other commodities.The meeting was informed that 90% of the rations have already been distributed to the consumers from the various ration depots across the district.
