District Development Commissioner (DDC), Anantnag, Syed Abid Rashid has asked the government employees of the district to attend to their duties immediately and mitigate the problems confronting the people.The DDC was chairing a meeting of the district officers to assess the measures taken by the administration in normalizing the situation and redressing the people’s problems.The DDC directed the district officers of the CA&PD Department to ensure supply of rations throughout the district. He said the ration depots should be kept open from early in the morning till late evening so that people don’t suffer for want of rations.He directed the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to ensure that proper care is taken of the injured admitted in various hospitals of the district. He was informed that sufficient drugs and other paraphernalia are available in the hospitals to mitigate the situation.
